Ostrobothnia Spring Fair in Botniahalli, Vaasa

Ostrobothnia Spring Fair in Botniahalli, Vaasa

Stands for Pohjanmaan Suurmessut & Piha ja Puutarha 2009 in Finnish.

It’s normally a big event here, approx. 250 exhibitors this year, a lot of interesting for the eye and – hehe – wallet, from seasonal gardening goods & services to rare books and representations of different municipalities.

Here are pics that I took there yesterday:

An "installation" by Amarillo, a popular local restaurant; they serve, among all, Tex mex food

"Sauna in a barrel". Looks somewhat funny, however it is a full-functional sauna place

We had fun 🙂 Bought some whole grain bread, reindeer sausage, and a few packs of seeds to plant on our balcony.

Somekind of “all in one” event, but nice to see and spend some time 🙂

Any plan to picture Katri-kauppa when they are next time in Vaasa 😉

  • LOL! I’m afraid Katri kauppa staff will be against any king of photographing on my part 😀

  • Max

They are comming next time to our “Tori”, maybe picturing there will not give them a chance to refuse..?

  • Ah, Torilla… Definitely 🙂

  • Тач

    о! хавчег!

  • О, как интересно!
    Дала у себя ссылку 🙂

  • Тача, ну как бы я могла пропустить хавчег :)))
    Это ж просто невозможно!

    the cubistic cow’s nice, too

Like the artist photo a lot.

The cow reminds me of one happening in the early nineties, when I was supposed to milk a similar cow. Ended up having a blend of milk and whiskey.

By the way, the interiors of Paris looks great, too. I miss cafés like that.

Last but not least: Thank very many for putting my links on your blog! I am a fan of yours.

  • A milk and whiskey mixture might be crucial for the evening 😀 I mean sitting in WC all the time.
I like reading the fiction pieces in your blogs, so puttimg a link here was natural 🙂

  • It’s just one tenth from what we saw there 🙂
    A big thing, this exhibition.
